US Anesthesia Volunteers Make a Lasting Impact on AVANCE-Houston Families

Laughter, teamwork, and a shared commitment to giving back filled the day as 25 volunteers from U.S. Anesthesia Partners (USAP) came together to support AVANCE-Houston’s Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP).

As the nation’s largest physician-led anesthesia care provider, USAP delivers high-quality anesthesia services through a network of anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), anesthesiologist assistants (CAAs), and other clinical professionals. With a strong focus on patient care, safety, and community engagement, USAP serves millions of patients nationwide.

The enthusiastic volunteer team dedicated an impressive 87.30 volunteer hours assembling toy-making kits and educational materials that will support meaningful parent-child learning activities at home. These kits are more than just toys. Through AVANCE-Houston’s Parent-Child Education Program, they serve as tools for strengthening parent-child bonds, encouraging communication, and creating positive shared experiences. By helping families practice connection and conversation during a child’s earliest years, these activities help build relationships that can support open communication as children grow older.

In addition to their hands-on service, the team demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to local families through a generous $3,245 donation to AVANCE-Houston’s Parent-Child Education Program. These funds will help provide educational resources that empower parents as their children’s first and most influential teachers.
