Welcome to our AVANCE-Houston Dekaney EHS family!
With great pleasure and enthusiasm, I write this letter to you as the Center Administrator for the AVANCE-Houston Dekaney EHS location. This year will be “remarkable” as we continue to provide effective practices to support the needs of all our students.
We strongly support providing a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment. We will continue to maintain an effective and productive relationship with all our families. I have loved being an educator and have enjoyed making a difference in students’ lives for 18 years. Knowing that being attentive, lovable, respectful, and genuine in the children’s lives makes a difference in their social and emotional attributes is very rewarding.
It creates a positive foundation for their overall learning experiences, which is essential for me in the educational field. I look forward to establishing positive relationships with all my parents/guardians. I am a strong proponent of an open-door policy and welcome conversations regarding your children to ensure a successful school year.
