At AVANCE, we believe that strong foundations build bright futures. Every child deserves a space where they feel safe, inspired, and empowered to grow — and thanks to an incredible partnership, that vision has come to life at our Acres Home center.
In collaboration with Houston Habitat for Humanity, Inc. and the amazing volunteers from EOG Resources, we proudly unveiled a brand-new learning space: a charming farmhouse designed to nurture young minds.
“This project reflects the heart of our mission — creating environments where children can learn, dream, and thrive,” said AVANCE-Houston, Executive Director, Luz Flores. “It’s more than a playhouse — it’s where possibility, laughter, curiosity, and imagination will fill every corner.”
“Together, we are not just building structures — we are creating opportunities, fostering resilience, and building a stronger community for the next generation,” said Houston Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, Kaleb Schannette.
