The Board oversees the organization’s business strategy, ensures accountability, enhances AVANCE’s public reputation, and serves as a thought partner to the leadership team.
This year, we welcomed seven new passionate, driven board members who continue supporting AVANCE’s mission with their expertise, leadership, compassion, and generosity.
We kicked off the December festivities with our Board of Directors’ Holiday Celebration. Current and former members attended the event and shared their experiences serving on the AVANCE board.
During the fun-filled event, we highlighted AVANCE Houston Board of Directors 100% participation in Giving. We also set a new record for largest amount of money donated by an AVANCE Board of Directors in a year: $42,200 and counting!
