At AVANCE, we believe that powerful things happen when community comes together — and on September 25, we saw that belief brought to life in the most colorful way.
Thanks to a heartwarming partnership with Houston Habitat for Humanity and Mitsubishi Power, our Jensen and Mangum centers each received a very special delivery: beautifully crafted playhouses designed just for the children we serve.
Built with care by the dedicated teams at Houston Habitat and Mitsubishi Power, these vibrant mini-homes are more than just places to play — they are spaces where imaginations can soar, friendships can grow, and children can feel the joy of being seen and celebrated.
As soon as the playhouses arrived, the reaction was immediate — wide smiles, excited chatter, and plenty of pretend play as children explored their brand-new play spaces. The impact was instant and heartwarming.
