The energy was high, and hearts were full as 360 AVANCE-Houston staff members reunited to launch a week-long professional development journey. This wasn’t just training, it was a celebration of purpose, people, and the powerful mission that unites us.
The morning of July 14 began with a welcoming message from our CEO, Dr. Teresa Granillo, and strategic updates from the AVANCE leadership team. Their vision for the year ahead set a strong foundation for collaboration and impact.
This year’s theme, “Unity is Strength,” was felt in every moment—from the shared laughter and learning to the deep sense of connection among colleagues. It served as a powerful reminder that our collective efforts are what drive meaningful change for the families and communities we serve.
One of the most heartfelt moments of the day was the Service Awards Ceremony, where we honored team members who have dedicated 15, 20, and 25+ years to AVANCE.
These incredible individuals began their journeys as passionate young professionals and have grown into mentors, role models, and pillars of our community.
As Day One came to a close, we stepped into the rest of the week with renewed purpose, deeper connections, and a shared commitment to our mission.
