Fatherhood Program Holds Graduation to Celebrate “Fathers in Action”

After an eight-week cohort of  AVANCE’s Fatherhood Program, thirty-five fathers and father figures received their certificate of completion at a ceremony held at Southwest Schools Mangum Campus on Friday, May 19^th, 2017.

These participants, who ranged in age from the early 20’s to 50’s are now equipped with the tools for their individual advancement, and to enjoy the experience of being an active partner in raising their children.

During the graduation, participants shared their statements about the “Father They Choose to Be,” and Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships, Support Programs and Outcomes Management, Nilia Jimenez offered words of encouragement and helped present the certificates to all graduates.
