Luz Flores de Rivera

Luz E. Flores, Sr. Director of Marketing & Administration leads the Marketing, Information Technology, Management Information System and the Human Resources departments. Luz has spent more than 25 years working with national nonprofit organizations holding  superior leadership roles. One of her recent accomplishments include leading the AVANCE marketing team to receive the “Non Profit Communications Team of the Year”  award by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Houston-2012).

Luz holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Non Profit Management from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio Texas, and a Human Resources Certificate from Rice University.  Luz is passionate about education and has a strong commitment to lead by example.
