The Indo-American Charity Foundation (IACF) presented AVANCE with a $2,000 check during their 2017 Grant Awards Night event. The special occasion was held on Thursday, June 29, at the Madres Pavillion Banquet Hall in Sugar Land, Texas. This is the second consecutive year that IACF selected AVANCE as a recipient.
Over 20 other well deserving and outstanding nonprofits organizations across Houston were awarded grants based on their engagement in education, family welfare, healthcare, and general welfare.
This grant will be used to strengthen the Parent-Child and Adult Education programs. Special thanks to Board Members, Dr. Vanitha Pothuri and Surender Talwar for selecting AVANCE as one of the beneficiaries.
