EARLY HEAD START

Early Head Start is a child development and family support program for children from six weeks to three years of age and expectant mothers.

 

It promotes healthy prenatal outcomes and enhances the development of young children, in order to create a healthy family environment.

EARLY HEAD START OFFERS AN ARRAY OF SERVICES,

BOTH HOME AND CENTER BASED, INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL, DEVELOPMENTAL, NUTRITIONAL, MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS, SOCIAL AND PRENATAL SUPPORT SERVICES.

To enroll in Early Head Start, families must be income eligible by meeting the requirements of the federal poverty guidelines and live within the zip codes that we service.
