Head Start Healthy Family Program (HMIII)

The AVANCE-Houston’s Healthy Family programs focus on improving the interpersonal relationships between married couples, engaged couples or couples planning to marry, singles, teens or young adults. Participants come to dynamic, interactive weekly sessions presented in a support-group setting that will validate their personal experiences and life-coping mechanisms and will provide them with information on healthy strategies for dealing with anger, stress, and conflict. 

All AVANCE-Houston programs serve families in the northwest area of the City of Houston in Head Start Region II.  Interested families that live in any of our service zip codes are eligible to participate in any of our Healthy Marriage and Family programs.
