AVANCE WAS BENEFICIARY OF SUGAR LAND SKEETERS GAME

AVANCE was featured at the Night at the Ballpark with the Sugar Land Skeeters game on July 28th. 

Over 175 AVANCE participants, including staff, Board Members, and donors attended the night’s festivities which included an on field check presentation and first pitch thrown out by Board Member, Bob Tenczar.

Spectators learned about AVANCE- through videos played on the big screen and also through our staff, who shared information about our services.

The audience had the opportunity to donate to the Parent-Child (PCEP) and Adult Education Programs through text to give, pass the boot, and an AVANCE-Houston customized jersey auction.

The successful Night at the Ballpark was sponsored by AVANCE’s longtime supporter; American Business Machines (ABM).

Board Members, Bob Tenczar, Surender Talwar, Pam Jarrett, and Evelyn Bean received the check on behalf of the agency. All donations raised during the game will be used to continue serving families in our community.
