AVANCE has been working tirelessly to bring community supporters to its
Annual Fundraising Gala 2008.

The event will take place Friday, March 28, 6:30 to 11:30 p.m., at the lovely Vargo's Restaurant, located at 2401 Fondren, Houston 77063. (map)

The theme “Magical Milestones” will celebrate AVANCE-Houston’s 20 years of educational services to families.   

The event will begin with an elegant reception followed by a silent auction from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., featuring items donated by local sponsors and contributors.  Excitement will build as generous bidders compete to purchase each item—all with the goal to support our worthy cause!

A program will follow honoring the family of Rice Professor Stephen Klineberg and his wife, Margaret, as well as an AVANCE family who will share the magic of their own milestones achieved at AVANCE.   A live auction will cap the program, after which everyone will dance to the rhythms of the renowned Scott Gertner Band.

We look forward to a night of fun, food, music, and friendship that will touch the hearts of our generous contributors and most importantly—benefit the current and future families and children served by AVANCE-Houston!
