What
you need to know about the 2010 Census?
April 1st is “Census Day” but not the last day to complete
the form. After April 1st the Census Bureau will start the
door to door campaign.

Undocumented people can complete the Census form and they
WILL NOT be turned into Immigration.

The
census form is available in Spanish and can requested by
calling 1.866.928.2010.

If
someone from the Census Bureau comes to their house, they
cannot ask about financial information and they cannot ask
for SSN.

Every
year, the federal government allocates more than $400
billion to states and communities based, in part, on census
data.

Census
data are used to determine locations for retail stores,
schools, hospitals, new housing developments and other
community facilities.

Census
data determine boundaries for state and local legislative
and congressional districts.

can call 1.866.872.6868 7 days a week between the hours of
8am to 9pm.
